As a small add-on to the previous two posts about the Kuzomen cemetery
As a small add-on to the previous two posts about the Kuzomen cemetery, here are a few curious photographs.
The first is a historical document and evidence of rather strong ties between Pomors and Norwegians—ties not only economic, but also matrimonial. A Norwegian woman, Emilia Berngardina Stamiusovna, née Gogvom, from the city of Tromsø in Norway, married a certain Zaborshchikov (a surname that, judging by the epitaphs in this cemetery, is common in Kuzomen) on August 28, 1858. After living three happy years in Kuzomen, she died peacefully in the harsh December of 1861, at the age of 19.
The last two photos, meanwhile, show us (SHOCK! SENSATION!) that the old Kuzomen people were so суровы that in 1938 they buried Harry Potter himself here!
